OK, this is our third competition

The concept for this competition is That Special place

I suppose that in that there is all manner of things that can be done.

So be creative and get going, it could be a poem about the act of reaching that special place, being in that special place, loss of that special place or anything - so get writing

So here we are our new competition,

Ok, so the idea is, that you guys in the community come up with novel ideas on how to show your own ‘Special Place'

For example a poem about the countryside

Or an art piece that expresses a person in a beautiful area

Or maybe a prose piece that touches on what you imagine your special place to be

Then if you are into photography, go out to your special place and take pictures

I MUST STRESS THAT YOUR SPECIAL PLACE IS A PHYSICAL LOCATION AND NOTHING RUDE (thats the next competition )

To submit simply, note us with a link to your work And we will add it to our journal index of submissions with a link to your name and a link to your work

Poetry has no limit (how refreshing) so go wild

Prose no longer than 2,000 words

Art has no restrictions, so go even wilder

Photography has no restrictions either, except for the not wanting sexual things in there, but don't worry there is a new comp in the piplines that should be sexy (if you want it)

As of yet there is no clear deadline, I’m thinking beginning of August????

If that is ok with you guys then that will be the deadline, if you need longer please say below or note us

One winner will be picked from each category, if it works out that we get enough submissions

If not then a grand winner will be announced


You can submit multiple pieces to multiple categories - however you can only win once

Notes


I have left it open for this competition so that you have space to breath and get to know each other, and what each of you produce

And sadly as my budget is nothing more than fluff and buttons *opens pockets to let the moths escape*, I can give you nothing but a spot on our winner’s area :’(

But don’t despair, I have started working and may make up enough to do something by the next competition

(or perhaps the one after )

i am hoping to get a credit card and buy memberships for people

again i stress not this comp but soon i promise

I REALLY DO WANT TO GIVE YOU PRIZES - but it will have to be for later competitions
